About Me

Hi, my name is Julie Elliott and I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

I became a celebrant because I believe it is an important role for those occasions in your life that are significant. Whatever the ceremony, be it marriage, renewal of vows, naming, passing, commitment, pet naming or pet funeral (yes I am serious – and I am a passionate animal lover), a good celebrant can be the difference in making your ceremony memorable for all the right reasons.

I bring to this role an extensive background in media and public affairs combined with a career of many years in policing. These positions have provided me tremendous opportunities to meet people from all walks of life. I feel privileged because I care about people. And let’s not forget our pets who bring so much to our lives.

Each ceremony is important, I strive to bring warmth, passion, fun (where appropriate) and meaning to each one. A marriage ceremony does have certain legal requirements and my background ensures you will receive informed advice and attention to those details.
