That’s what I am here for! After our initial meeting or phone call I will have some idea of your feelings and personalities – then I start to prepare a draft ceremony for you. I will also provide you with some different vows and readings to look over. Of course you are welcome to write as much, as little or nothing at all of your ceremony as you wish. Allow me to guide and support you so this can be stress free and even fun. Before long your unique, beautiful ceremony is created.

Notice of Intended Marriage Form (NOIM) must be signed, witnessed and lodged with me not later than one month and one day, and not more than 18 months, prior to your wedding day.
Original birth certificate or official extract - photocopies are not acceptable.
If you were previously married you must produce the Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate, whichever is applicable.
Yes, but two pieces only. The first where, as your celebrant, I must inform those present that I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law.
The second are legal vows that must be said out loud and are simply;
"I call on everyone gathered here
to witness that I (name)
take you (name)
to be my lawful wedded wife/husband"
Your personal vows are said before or after the legal vows.
Initial details can be obtained over the phone and I then send you information and ideas via email or post. The Notice of Intended Marriage can also be witnessed and signed by approved people as stated on the form but still must be done no later than one day and one month before your wedding.
To change your surname on your driving licence, passport and some other legal documents, you will need another kind of marriage certificate called the Standard Marriage Certificate. This is a different certificate to the one given to you on your wedding day. This can only be obtained from Births, Deaths & Marriages after your wedding and this certificate shows the registration number of your wedding.
